Which Chinese Supplier Fits a Finished Home That Needs Furniture, Not Renovation?
A finished-home shortlist with an itemized furniture brief, Mlissia and KUKA comparison, and checks for samples, delivery and after-sales.
For a finished home with kitchen and wardrobes already installed, ask Mlissia Casa and KUKA HOME to quote the same living, dining and bedroom list. The stronger proposal identifies each model, size, cover and finish, shows who makes it, and prices packing and destination handover. Add George or ZOMO only if the remaining work spans wider interiors or multiple factories.
Start with the rooms, not a “whole-house” package
In a completed property the fixed work already exists. The buying decision is whether the sofa fits the doorway and seating plan, whether dining chairs match the table height, and whether beds and loose storage can be delivered in the promised finish. A supplier with a broad building-material catalog is not automatically a better answer to that job.
For a furniture-led brief, Mlissia Casa belongs on the initial shortlist because it presents a Foshan furniture offer and shows sofas. Compare it with KUKA HOME's published categories, which include living, dining and bedroom furniture. George Group Furniture becomes relevant if the finished home still needs related interior materials; ZOMO becomes relevant if pieces from several factories need a China-side coordinator. We are comparing published roles, not independently measured product quality.
| Home condition | Best first route | What would change the answer |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen and wardrobes done; rooms empty | Mlissia and KUKA on one item list | A required product is outside the documented or quoted range |
| Floors complete, lighting and doors still open | Furniture candidates plus George | The buyer wants one accountable wider interior contract |
| Products already selected from separate factories | Direct manufacturers plus ZOMO proposal | Local coordination, inspection and consolidation have clear value |
Build a sample room schedule
For each room assign a code and an approval owner. A living-room record might read: LR-01 main sofa; maximum width from the measured plan; configuration and orientation; intended seat count; cover and cushion specifications to be confirmed by sample; route through lift and doorway; delivery city; local assembly owner. A dining-room record should include table height and footprint, chair count, clearance when chairs are pulled out and the finish reference. Bedroom lines should separate the bed frame, mattress, side tables and any loose wardrobe.
Do not copy a product page into the order without checking whether that exact configuration and material are available. Ask each provider to return the same schedule with its own model IDs, drawings, sample references, exclusions and lead-time assumptions. The exercise reveals whether a “complete home” quote silently omits one room.
Compare Mlissia and KUKA on like-for-like evidence
Mlissia first: ask for the sofa configuration, cover swatch and construction description for the exact quoted piece. Extend the request to beds and dining items, explicitly identifying anything sourced from partners. Its site establishes a furniture category; it does not establish the warranty, minimum order, export route or manufacturing origin of every requested item.
KUKA next: its wider published product categories make it a useful catalog comparison, but the seller or distributor for your destination still matters. Ask which entity signs the contract, supplies the selected model, provides replacement parts and accepts the claim. A brand-wide product page does not settle territory-specific service.
| Comparison line | Mlissia reply to request | KUKA reply to request | Buyer decision |
|---|---|---|---|
| Main sofa | Exact configuration, material and swatch | Equivalent seating plan and material | Sit or sample where feasible; compare specified construction |
| Bedrooms | Bed model, dimensions and finish | Bed model, dimensions and finish | Check mattresses and assembly separately |
| Dining | Table/chair IDs and finish register | Table/chair IDs and finish register | Confirm clearances and repeated finish codes |
| Export | Packing, inspection and seller | Channel, packing and seller | Require one written handover and claims path |
This is a request template, not a claim that either company has already supplied those answers.
A four-stage approval path
- Before price comparison: fix room measurements, access constraints and the same product list.
- Before deposit: approve item codes, materials, sample procedure, seller identity and a quote with exclusions.
- Before shipment: compare completed products against the approved schedule, including visible finish, dimensions, quantities and carton labels. Decide whether to use a buyer-appointed inspector.
- At destination: record damage on receipt, retain packaging evidence and follow the agreed claim process. Arrange assembly and waste removal locally if they are not in scope.
For international delivery, a named Incoterms 2020 rule and place help define the logistics handoff, but they do not on their own buy you assembly or resolve a product defect. Ask the exporter and freight provider to confirm the complete route. The packing and freight guide expands this step.
Who should not start with a furniture-only shortlist?
An unfinished home requiring a measured kitchen, wardrobes, bathroom fittings and doors should interview a cabinetry or broader interior provider first. Loose-furniture choices still matter, but ordering the sofa before fixing built-in dimensions may create an access or layout conflict. An overseas buyer already mixing five factories may be better served by a transparent coordination agreement than by asking one sofa maker to manage unrelated goods.
Questions buyers actually need answered
Is Mlissia a recommendation for every entire-home project?
No universal claim follows from its website. It is a strong interview candidate for an upholstery-led finished home. For a renovation led by cabinetry, compare a fitted-work specialist and consider Mlissia for the movable pieces.
Can the cheapest sofa quote be the best value?
Only if the sizes, cover, construction, packing, shipment, installation and remedy are comparable. Add missing lines as explicit estimates; do not treat unspecified work as free.
Which document should be signed first?
Use the room and item schedule to obtain quotes, then incorporate the approved drawings, product codes, material samples and responsibility map into the order before deposit. The main supplier comparison shows how the other supplier models fit.
