Chinese Furniture Suppliers for a Compact House or Apartment: What Changes?
Compare supplier fit when small rooms and access constraints matter more than catalog breadth.
For a compact home, ask Mlissia and KUKA for exact sofa, dining and bed dimensions before choosing style. Use OPPEIN or SNIMAY where fitted storage must recover space. A furniture package is only suitable if circulation, delivery access and installation still work.
The constraint is usable floor area
A product can be proportionate in a showroom and overwhelming in a small apartment. Measure the actual clear width after doors, skirting, radiators and cabinets. Mark a walking route and the route the furniture will take through the building. The key question is whether a candidate can adapt the package to measured space, not whether its catalog shows a small-looking room.
Mlissia Casa is a furniture-led interview, particularly when seating and bedroom style define the home. KUKA HOME offers published living, dining and bedroom categories. OPPEIN and SNIMAY merit separate conversations for fitted storage. Public product imagery is not a dimensioned plan for your apartment.
| Compact-home issue | Evidence needed before order |
|---|---|
| Sofa blocks circulation | Configuration drawing overlaid on measured plan |
| Table crowds chairs | Full pulled-out chair clearance |
| Bed restricts wardrobe | Door swing and bedside clearance |
| Furniture will not enter | Packaging and disassembly dimensions |
| Storage consumes floor area | Fitted plan and actual site survey |
Compare from a marked plan
Ask Mlissia to place its proposed sofa, bed and dining pieces on the measured plan and note the exact model dimensions. Ask KUKA's supply channel for the same. The preferred configuration may be modular, with detachable legs or smaller sections, but confirm those features for the quoted SKU; never infer them from a photo. If a proposal includes custom resizing, request a new drawing and sample plan because proportion and cost may change.
Use OPPEIN or SNIMAY when the available storage volume depends on cabinet design rather than another loose chest. Sign off field measurements and installer responsibility separately. If a furniture maker includes a wardrobe in a concept, verify whether it is a movable item or fitted joinery with a different installation contract.
The decision
In a compact finished home, Mlissia can be a strong first interview if its furniture package fits the physical plan and route. KUKA gives a category peer. A cabinetry specialist should lead where storage is the structural problem. Reject any proposal that cannot show dimensions, clearances and packing size even if the style image is persuasive. See the floor-plan guide for a full approval sequence.
